  My computer recently crashed, which was a major disappointment. Not only did I have important documents and files on it, I had memories on it. Very recently, my entire family had a 91st birthday party for my Grandfather. He passed away shortly after, and when the computer crashed the photos were gone. I did some research on data recovery, and came across this software. I didn't really expect it to work the way it should of, but to my surprise, it did. It was extremely easy to use and set up, and in no time everything I lost was recovered. There is no price to pay for memories, especially memories like that. My mom used it on her computer as well after she accidentally deleted things from her computer. It worked like a charm. I am very pleased overall, and would not hesitate to recommend this program to anyone.

  This software works like magic. I still can't believe that is free for recover 1 GB data. I wish I found it earlier than I would be recover those photos I had in my old hard disk. This software is definitely the simplest one to download and set up, no trick at all. And it works as described, I recovered some important documents and paper work without any issues. I mean the formats and fonts etc are all exactly the same as before. This recovery suite really saved my life and saved my time from re-work everything from scratch. I recommend it highly.

  My hard drive crashed last summer and I "lost" hundreds of travel photos. I panicked and researched different kinds of software until I downloaded this one on the recommendation of a friend. It's really easy to download and install and the interface is user friendly. I'm not technology savvy but this program was easy enough to follow. But the best part is that it recovered all my photos! I was so happy. Those memories are priceless. I bought the full version of this program on all my computers. Would definitely recommend to all!

  5 stars! This software was an absolute lifesaver. I accidentally deleted some important data on my laptop, and needed to recover them asap. A friend told me to download this software because they had a great experience with it. It has an easy to use interface, it's efficient, and I was able to recover all of my data quickly.   Pros

  It was extremely easy to download and set up, and I was able to start using the program right away. The guided wizard takes you through everything you'll need from set up to recovery, and the user interface is simple and friendly. I was able to pull off at least three documents I'd accidentally deleted, as well as countless other things I don't even remember deleting. It's definitely worth it!

  After losing thousands of pictures, I set out in search for something that could protect me from the same thing happening in the future, and I found this software (on the recommendation of a friend). I couldn't be more thrilled with it. It has saved quite a few accidentally deleted files so far and it's a huge reassurance to have it. I upgraded to the full version because I want protection if a large number of my data is deleted again. Everyone needs to have this!

  Nothing you can't get on other free programs of this type

  This program is in the "FREE" section. Yet after waiting a solid 3 hours for it to go through my computer and present a list of files it recovered it tells me I need to pay for full version as this version only allows 1gb of recovered data to be saved. What a waste of time. Cnet please remove this miss leading rubbish from the free section. It is NOT free.

  Summary

  How did this get a 5 star user review ? Don't waste 3 hours of your life like I did. There are plenty of other file recovery programs out there that do the same job and actually are free without any strings attached.

  Pros

  Its a very straightforward interface, select your problem area and you're taken through the recovery process. While I'd gladly wait for good recovery software to work, here you get good software and a fast speed.

  Cons

  If you don't like guided wizards, this might not be for you.
