Bundling three programs in one, 550 Access Toolbar does more than simply search the Web. In fact, the app is a capable pop-up blocker and can erase your Internet history, temporary files, and cookies. However, we weren't wild about the fact that the program forcibly closes all open browser windows during installation. The toolbar strikes an unassuming presence on your browser window and displays icons for cleaning your computer and blocking pop-ups. As a search tool, this utility doesn't do anything special, simply using Google to troll the Web. The pop-up blocker worked well in our tests without slowing down surfing, though it can't stop banners and Flash ads. The cleanup utility also was a pleasure, quickly purging unwanted cookies and files from our machine. These extra capabilities turned what could have been just another garden-variety toolbar into a successful and powerful Web-surfing companion.

Product installed itself on visiting a website, clicking the x on the dialog "this will install 550access..." didn't even work! The only other button available was the OK button. <p> <p>Now my google toolbar doesn't search any more and I can't find how to uninstall

I have this installed on 6 PCs with Windows XP, and on half of them it has caused major problems. It won't show up at all unless logged in as Admin (can't do that with public machines), on one PC it leaves a blank button where their logo should be, it even depresses like a button, but nothing happens. Other times it has caused IE to not open. Other times the Auto Fill button won't go away even when I tell it to. The google toolbar has a few less features, but it acutally works and is stable. I've even emailed 550 Access tech support and they keep saying the fixed it with a new version but it never changes. this is too frustrating. I don't know about you, but I like my software to actually work. Period. This sucks.

Summary
I've been using the Google Toolbar up till now and been extremely happy with it.I changed to this Toolbar because it is as good as, if not better than the google one. Only disadvantage is some of the advanced settings which leave u wondering what the hell they might do.
