The main window has a clean design and features large icons for almost every function you'll need, so we doubt you'll ever have to dig through the main menu. As an audio converter, 4Musics gives you a great deal of control over your files. For example, you can change the bit rate, edit ID3 tags, and rip VBR MP3s.

In our tests, the program quickly and adeptly converted our MP3s to several other file types and didn't seem to affect our PC's performance. We definitely can recommend this program to anyone who needs an easy and flexible way to convert digital audio tracks.

limited number one can load at a time and never started

I could not get the program to do the conversion. START did nothing
Cons
loaded crapware even though I selected custom and unchecked it 50 files at a time convert limit and when I clicked start nothing happened

I uninstalled 20 mins after installing since I could not get it to work
Works but SLOW...ask you to "buy" after every song!

Free. Always good. It works. That's good, too.
Cons
Slow. Asks you to "buy" it after each song converted. Have to keep hitting "continue" to make it go on. Tedious. Costs $30.
Summary
My search continues for a simple MP4 to MP3 converter. This product isn't going to work out.
This worked when other converters didn't

The GUI title bar is difficult to read (pale gray on light green).

4Music's Multiformat Converter was able to rip a homemade audio CD (where only the CDA "pointer" files would show when browsing the disc) to MP3 files when all these other audio conversion programs couldn't: iTunes couldn't do it; Windows Media Player couldn't do it; Roxio couldn't do it; AudioConverter Studio couldn't do it; and Audio Converter couldn't do it. Unfortunately the tool is not able to convert flac files in lots of cases. I have contacted their support, but they did not provide me with any helpful answer besides that 'not all flac files are supported by our tool'. This is not what they tell you when they are selling this so-called 'unversal' converter. I was never able to get any fix or at least an estimate when this fix can be delivered and the replies from the support were pretty harsh. Don't mess with them if you do not want to pay money for an unworking utility.
