4D Toys for iOS

4D Toys is an educational application designed for iPhone that immerses users in the fascinating world of four-dimensional space. It features over 130 interactive scenes, allowing users to explore complex 4D shapes through a sophisticated physics engine that incorporates time as a dimension. Engaging activities include fitting hypercubes into hyperholes, using 4D shapes as dice, and navigating a virtual 4D ball pit, making the learning process both interactive and enjoyable.

The application supports multi-touch and utilizes the iPhone's accelerometer to enhance user interaction. It also includes a 10-page interactive book that presents the concept of the fourth dimension with relatable analogies. Additional features such as anti-gravity effects, wireframe projections, and the capability to export 3D meshes for printing further enrich the experience, effectively blending education and play to facilitate the understanding of complex mathematical concepts.
