The basic premise of BlackJack is that you want to have a hand that is closer to 21 than that of the dealer, without going over 21. Face cards are worth 10. Aces can be worth 1 or 11. All other cards are worth face value. A BlackJack, or natural, is a total of 21 in your first two cards (Ace+10).Features 3 different types of computer players each with their own playing personalities.BASIC PLAYBasic Play is a set of rules that lower the house edge at the table. You can double down on any two cards and you will be allowed to double down on any split except Aces. For training purposes only 1 split is allowed. With these rules and as long as you follow BASIC PLAY, the house edge is estimated at 0.15% on a single deck shoe. For a 6 deck shoe the house edge increases to about 0.33%.COUNTING CARDS (In-App Purchase Required)This app can teach you 3 different Running Count card counting systems and the True Count counting system modifier in a realistic 5 hand environment.Basic theory of counting: When the deck is high in tens and aces, you place larger bets (ie. base bet * true count[TC = RC/#DecksUndealt] or base bet * running count[RC]). When the deck has more small cards, you will bet as little as possible or leave the table (leaving can be harder than you think at a busy Casino).There all multiple counting systems and you should start by learning the HI-LO system. As you get proficient you can learn the other systems (HI-OPT1, HI-OPT2, TRUE COUNT) to determine what works best for you. All card counting systems require lots of practice (not lots of brain power) and you should be well practiced at BASIC PLAY before using one. All systems assume 0 count at the start of the deck and 0 count at the end of the deck and in some cases you can modify your Basic Play based on the true count(TC) or anticipate the dealer hole card based on the beginning count(BC).NOTE: If you are counting cards, the casino may watch you more closely, become less friendly, short shuffle you (shuffle early), or throw you out. Watch for warning signs and you can change your betting style (cover plays like splitting 10s!) or leave the tables for a little while. You could also learn to tag team (pre-determined signals with a partner) so that the casino will have more difficulty determining if you are counting.
