Great app but giving it a ONE star because it is missing a fundamental function: Custom Categories!!! This is app development 101
Cons
What gauls me most is that for over a year many have begged for custom categories and the developer replies with a condescending "duly noted"
Stop duly noting and just do it

Don't buy it until they add it - money talks
Very Helpful But Not Fabulous
GreenThumbSD
Pros
It's cool that I can utilize the maximum characters allowed by my accounts for passwords. For my bank account I use a crazy amount of characters :)
Cons
On my mac I'm having the hardest time figuring out how to save a password once I've generated a new one. So I use my PC to generate and save new passwords. Also on my mac I cannot generate 50 character passwords like I can on my PC. One more problem is that if I mistakenly duplicate an account, I have to go to my PC to delete the extra password icon.
Summary
It's a great program. But for $70 I expected fabulous.
It works well on my Mac and iPhone 5
cogator
Pros
The best part of using 1password is that it works all of the time. It is available to me on both of the devices that I use the most. They work flawlessly and the reaction time is very fast. I have not had to worry about passwords since I started using 1Password a couple of years ago and each version is better than the last.
What is especially handy is the history of passwords I have used for each logon and the fact that when I have three line logons, 1Password has no problem with the logon.
Cons
It would be nice if there were a feature that notified me of duplicates, as this sometimes happens when sites do not recognize a logon after a long period of not logging in to the site. Then when I have to create a new logon, sometimes it shows up as a duplicate. This has to be dealt with manually as 1Password does not always let you know that there were duplicates until you go to logon to a site.
The other issue is that when there is a full version upgrade, the program developers do not inform you that there is a charge for the full upgrade. I don't have a problem paying for this, but it just was not clear up front that there would be a charge. (Upgrades within a version are giving without charge.)
Summary
I would highly recommend 1Password because of its simplicity, ease of use and the fact that it works so well (coordinated) on Macs and iPhones.
Handy Software
Thombar99
Pros
Stores all of your passwords with a minimum of fuss.
Cons
Doesn't always pop up the password that you need to use.
Summary
I would recommend this software even though there are a few bugs in it. I guess we just have to live with bugs being a part of computer software. I've been using 1PASSWORD for a few years now and I think the original version was better than the latest version. Why do they always have to improve something that works? If it ain't broke, don't fix it!!!
Adequate but not great
Thombar99
Pros
Brings up most of my passwords. Fairly easy to use.
Cons
Doesn't bring up all passwords. Doesn't always give me the option to enter a new password for a website.
Summary
Basically I like the software but quite honestly the very first version I had (I think it was their first) worked a lot better and smoother than the current version. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong but passwords don't always show up when I go to a password protected site and click on the key. It's probably worth the money to get it but I would like to see a lot of improvement before I can give it a five star rating.
The good loyal friend with a great memory.
rafaeljtsilva
Pros
Stop worrying of having to remember all the unique passwords you used.
Stop struggling to create passwords that no one can guess.
Really good interface, intuitive and fast to use.
The possibility of using it anywhere, is something also really handy.
And, be at ease, you can count on a really good team and excellent support service.
Cons
None that know of!
Summary
Try it, and you'll get how worthy it is!
Pain-free upgrade to an already excellent product
MarkSealey
Pros
Features: it does everything you want
Easy to use: intuitive
Robust and reliable: never crashes
Aesthetics: great interface makes it easy to use
Upgrade process: although it'd seem intimidating, the months (years?) of testing by AgileBits have paid off... it's seamless
New features make organization of sensitive data that needs to be secure even easier. Really a 'one-shop' shop for it all
Cons
Maybe a little overpriced for new users. But very well worth it!
Summary
This latest version (4.0) is better than ever. Does everything you want. And does it reliably and well.
Simple to use
geomowat
Pros
Does exactly what it claims to do and remembers all those passwords and account details.
Cons
Not many, but a bit too prone to asking to save a password when one is already saved and does not work with Opera.
Summary
Certainly transformed my (and my wife's) multiple accounts.
Shouldn't we mention iCloud Keychain???
ateixeira--2008
Pros
I use 1Password (v3) and love it, it works very well, integrates well with iOS too
Cons
But before buying, you should be aware that MacOS 10.9 (Mavericks) includes a feature called iCloud Keychain, which does pretty much the same 1Password does, with better integration with iOS (e.g. you can fill out passwords within the regular Safari browser, with 1Password you have to use their own mini browser)
Summary
Very frustrated
AnnandStevesMusic
Pros
Better than nothing
Cons
Doesn't alway remember the last password when you change it. Does not let you see a history of generated passwords so you can figure out which ones it didn't remember for you. Much harder to use than art versions. Makes multiple records for the same website. User documentation is slim.
Summary
I don't like the idea of web based versions, but I'll probably go that route. I don't understand how it gets such rave reviews. I'm running a Mac with Lion.
