Editors' Review

This program, ahem, goes to 11 (and costs you zero, too). 11view allows you to view, edit, and manage digital images. Despite its small file size, it has plenty of useful features. Once you select a image folder that contains the photos you want to manipulate, the images will appear as thumbnails at the top of the main window, with the first image in the main editing window to the lower right. Double-click an image and it will blow up to full-screen size. Editing options include tools for rotating, adjusting brightness, tweaking gamma, and adding a photo-negative effect. 11view also can perform batch conversions to change filenames, the size, or the resolution, or it can add an image overlay to pictures. You can even watch a basic slide show of your images or create an animated GIF. Overall, 11view is a powerful program that comes in a small package--with no price tag attached.
