zonMotion is a lightweight application to do Stop Motion and Time Lapse recordings. It will allow you to configure the recording. In a Time Lapse recording it will give you options to determine the timing between captures. In the Stop Motion mode, you will be able to have an overlay displaying the previous frame in order to move your object according. It will also allow you to determine the number of frames of the output video and the option to save the frames as single images.
