There are no pros once you download and realize what has just happened to your computer. I actually read good 'reviews' on the imesh website and should have known better.
Cons
It took over every one of my browsers as the 'qbyrd' toolbar and it was very hard to delete it. it is hidden, and impossible to take out of mozilla firefox but i was able to delete it from internet explorer and google chrome. I almost could not delete the imesh program after that, but luckily restarted the computer and got it off. I just hope there is not something else lurking in my computer ready to eff it up.

This is a scam and you will regret the download as it will take over your computer. Heed the warning.

None, it ruined my computer, made it slower and with spyware/viruses for a long time.
Cons
It gave me hell. Viruses, randomly coming up when I didn't even chose to, changed my desktop and home page to imesh. It's crazy, they take over your computer and try to steal your identity. It's scary I have to delete it from my life somehow.

Ever since I downloaded I-mesh it did to my old netbook what all these others are saying...it makes your netboo into a slave to imesh and takes over your search engine adn if you try and uninstall it it will F7ck up everything. I will not poison my new netbook as I learned the hard way...Also the music you download will often have a limit of time you can have that song, so it's ***** anyways.

I needed to get my hands on a piece of music that i could not find on I Tunes, and in desperation I installed Imesh. It gave me all kinds of rubbish, but nothing else.
To add insult to injury, it took over Internet Explorer and Google Chrome, and has really corrupted their search engine capabilities. Norton 360 cannot see a fault with it.
I have uninstalled it but the search engine problem remains.Summary
Can anybody "out there" please tell me how I might solve the search engine problem, other than re-formatting the hard disk, or worse still attacking it with a hammer!

All these reviewers saying it gives you spyware and messes with your internet are idiots. You can simply uncheck the homepage/toolbar options during install, and you don't get spyware from the program, you get it from corrupt files. This is a wonderful program, I fully recommend.

My litmus test for quality computing additions is CNET. Through reviews by editors and consumers, I am able to make informed decisions.
Given the suggestions by Wheeler111, I remain wary of any program with a devious agenda. Even with Malware, getting rid of a virus can be a daunting task.Cons
Potential consumers should please note that CNET did NOT endorse this program. As a reliable source of information, CNET lists iMesh and other questionable programs as a customer service in order to provide references about most all programs.
There may be a possibility of missing an outstanding program. However, reliance on CNET user reviews, if not editor reviews, all but eliminates jeopardizing my computer through ignorance.Summary
