  "Simple and It Works"

  Pros: I needed to convert .cda music files. Half a dozen different programs that promised to covert my files - and I downloaded them from CNET - flunked instantly. Error messages left and right along with offers to install crap I don't need (Pando?). iCool player did the job with no problems or complaints. Bingo! That's all I wanted. I'll check out what else it does but, for now, I'm happy; this little program saves me a lot of annoying downloading and disappointment.

  "converter is soundless"

  Pros: don't know.. was pissed off by the converter's performance only...

  Cons: converter does not work at all... no sound if you convert midi to mp3
