CNET Editors' review
This file compression tool offers the convenience of previewing an entire file before extracting it, and it does so free of charge.
Zipeg for Windows has a very simple interface that will appeal to all users. The minimal command buttons allow you to open files, and extract and preview them. There is also an Options button that lets you select the file you would like the program to open by default, and also where to place the destination file. When we opened a compressed file, the file's contents were displayed in the main window. Hovering the mouse over each individual file displayed the file's size, including the compression size and the modification date. The preview option allowed us to view the entire file without having to extract it first.
Zipeg keeps you in charge of the extraction process. We highly recommend this freeware app for all users. It left no traces on our computer when we uninstalled it.

Summary
Over the years I have used several Unzip programs. Every one of them was difficult and complicated to use. Most of them eventually wanted money, like the idiots at Winzip.
This program is a no brainer, a baby could operate it. I like it! -
"have only used for comic book reading"
Version: Zipeg 2.9.0.1177
Pros
opens files quickly and you can even open a certain page instead of having to go through the whole book. i like that when float the cursor over each page it balloons up to show you that page. if i dont like the art then i dont waste time reading
Cons
sometimes you have to go to the end of the book and page backwards then go to the beginning and start reading or you dont get the whole thing. i could be doing something wrong, i'm one of thse guys who just dives in, intructions? what are those?
Summary
works for me. like i said i use it for comics. great way to read a series, then you know when it comes out in a hardback graphic novel format, which is what i collect now, that you are'nt wasting you money. recommended.
