You've secured your PC against viruses and malware, installed strong firewalls, and otherwise done what you can to protect your data and your privacy. What about keystroke logging, aka keylogging? That's where hackers surreptitiously record every keystroke you make. Passwords, usernames, credit card numbers, security codes, and private conversations are all vulnerable to keylogging. Help is available in the form of anti-keylogging tools like Zemana's AntiLogger, which is now offered as an easy-to-use freeware edition for home users. AntiLogger Free detects and foils actual attempts to hack into your system and monitor your activities. Unlike many security apps, it works with your antivirus solution, not against it.

AntiLogger Free's user interface is extremely simple, listing only one installed module, Keyboard Protection, with a sliding On button indicating that protection is active. A system tray icon opens the interface when it's minimized, which is most of the time. There's no Help button, but clicking the Feedback or Bug Report links opened the developer's site. AntiLogger Free automatically checks for updates but lets you choose if, when, and how to install them in the program's Settings, which also configures basic options and proxy connections (if required). You don't have to do anything to use AntiLogger Free, unless it detects suspicious activity. Unlike typical anti-malware tools that scan your system based on an updated definition, AntiLogger Free analyzes your system's behavior and shuts down any suspicious activity it detects, simultaneously issuing a notification that lets you Allow or Block the activity. If you're fortunate, you won't get an alert, but that doesn't mean AntiLogger Free isn't doing its job. The program's Web site shows what the alerts you hope you don't get look like, along with information about what the software does and how it does it.

AntiLogger Free is easy to use, light on resources, and addresses a huge vulnerability affecting millions of users. It's free, so try it yourself. You might be glad you did, which sure beats being sorry you didn't!

"Easy, free.Bundles Jotzey adware and Backup PC apps."

    March 05, 2014   |   By Andozz

    Version: Zemana AntiLogger Free 1.2.1.396

    Pros

-Simple installation , no configuration, no detail work-up
-Very easy to handle, just on or off...
-Does not slow down your programs running
    -No problem with AVG anti-virus
(Didn't doublecheck with Keylogger yet, therefore unable to comment on protection capacity.Just regarded reviews).
-This one's reported to protect almost every application.

    Cons

Application comes bundled with potentially malicious adware program " jotzey " and also installs suspicious and useless " back up your pc " application ! This makes the seriousity of the company questionable ! I just got rid of these , uninstalled them , finito...

    Summary

Free and simple application with relatively broad protection spectrum. I uninstalled KeyScrambler free version which was limited to browser protection.

    ""Protection""

    January 18, 2014   |   By ScottiePeck

    Version: Zemana AntiLogger Free 1.2.1.396

    Pros

    It is free

    Cons

It does not work as promised
    Failed most of the tests
It is used to promote paid zemana anti-logger which also fails the tests

    Summary

Check tests all over internet. This antilogger does not offer anything good. It's detection is lower than 50%(!!!)

If you want to encrypt your keystrokes, go with KeyScrambler or SpyShelter.

    "Best free AntiLogger"

    November 30, 2013   |   By Ahmedshawon92

    Version: Zemana AntiLogger Free 1.2.1.396

    Pros

    -Protects EVERY application
    -Very easy user interface
    -Doesn't disturb to go pro
-Heard it also block keylogger(Couldn't test it because my firewall(online armor) also blocks keylogger)

    Cons

    None that I find of

    Summary

It would be good if I can know my keystroke is being enscrypted by seeing enscryped keys in real time like Key scrambler{Except in MS office}. However it's best cause it protects keystrock in every application free.

    "An Ideal Key-Logging Defense !"

    May 07, 2013   |   By tonester59

    Version: Zemana AntiLogger Free 1.2.1.396

    Pros

Minimum set-up required and it runs silently in the background. Covers all applications, not just browsers, and has no display for a screen-logger to capture. Very light on system resources - I've never noticed any impact. Free version is regularly updated. Finally, it's backed by a company that seems to really care about the quality of it's product and user security. If you have a problem with it, as I once did, just let them know. I found them to be very responsive and helpful. As to the program's effectiveness, I'm pretty sure my system has never been penetrated by a keylogging attack since using AntiLogger. (but I'm not sure if it alerts you of any attempts- I'll look into it and post an update.)

    Cons

No cons, really. The program does contain a file (sorry, I didn't write down it's name ) that Malwarebytes Beta Anti-Rootkit program mistook for malware and asked permission to remove. It was my own fault for letting it do so.

    Summary

I've been using this program since it was still in beta and, aside from one glitch that I'm positive was caused by a long-ago corrected problem with my system, it has worked flawlessly. It requires virtually no user interaction - just set and forget. Zemana should be commended for making it available to everyone, regardless of financial status, and they won't constantly nag you to upgrade to the paid version ('hard to believe, I know). Not everyone can afford paid security programs, and Zemana belongs on that short list (along with companies like Malwarebytes, Avast, and others) that make high-quality computer security available to everyone. Buy the paid version if you have the means; this is a company that deserves our support. (And, by the way, thank you Zemana !)

"Tried to install Trojan when downloading product"

    February 22, 2013   |   By bloke53

    Version: Zemana AntiLogger Free 1.2.1.396

    Pros

None. Stopped installation because the product attempted to install a Trojan (Detected by Mcafee anti-virus) when downloading the product

    Cons

See above. Also, chose custom installation to avoid having Coupon companion and Mixdj toolbar installed as part of the download process, but the programs were installed anyway against my wishes. It also changed my homepage without my permission to Mixdj homepage. Immediately caused me to loose trust in this product

    Summary

    Don't trust this program

    "No muss, no fuss"

    February 16, 2013   |   By tydicea

    Version: Zemana AntiLogger Free 1.2.1.396

    Pros

Free, setup is easy, nothing to configure.

    Cons

Download on hours ago, not enough time for a credible evaluation

    Summary

Was using Keyscrambler, decided to give this new program a go since it offers a larger scope of protection. It appears to be doing its job silently in the background. I miss actually seeing encryption activity when typing, like with Keyscrambler.

    "Great Product! Worth the Money!"

    January 04, 2013   |   By thenissan300zx

    Version: Zemana AntiLogger Free 1.2.1.396

    Pros

My Favorite of all the pros of the program is the Z and a shield icon..... Epic!!!!! Any ways....

Download and install was quick with no confusion.

Can run with other virus scanners. (I use AVAST)

    It blocks some viruses.

Easy to use and easy set up took me 10 mins. to figure out the settings.

I had hackers in my computer and after install they were gone, so it really does help.

    Cons

It seems..... updates don't happen too often.

I had issues with my serial number, for the program when buying it. I got it to work by uninstalled and reinstalled. IDK why.

    Summary

Get product and worth every penny! I think more people should support Zemana, so it can keep up its good work.

"Superb compliment to internet security suite software!"

    November 13, 2012   |   By zeroday1

    Version: Zemana AntiLogger Free 1.0.0.833

    Pros

This product really does fill in the gaps it boasts of and true to its premise, its one of the few products of its kind that really protects the other aspects of a computer system that may otherwise be left vulnerable by other security suites that claim to protect the entire system.

    Key features:

    *Anti-Keylogging

    *Anti-Screen logging

    *Anti-Webcam logging

    *Anti-Clipboard logging

*System Defense Module/Protects Registry & RAM

    Cons

The only downside to this software, which I was able to confirm with a company rep, is that it doesn't protect the MBR from infiltration.

However, I'm sure that this is something that the folks at Zemana will take seriously, since security is an ever-growing concern these days and therefore requires constant vigilance of new threats so as to come up with rigorous solutions.

The fact that a program like this merely lacks this sort of protection should not deter those whom are serious about protecting their computers.

Even if the MBR got infected somehow, this program provides enough swift intervention to prompt a user of unauthorized access to system components and in addition allows itself to be password protected.

    Summary

One thing to remember is that most security suite software is not comprehensive enough to provide full protection off by itself, though some products may come close, they still lack protection in several key areas of a system, regardless of how one may attempt to configure their firewall, (Unless of course internet access isn't important to you and thus would rather block all ports on your firewall, there really isn't many other ways to heighten security without enlisting the help of an application such as "Zemana Antilogger")

And for those of you that may have ignored program-compatibility standards before downloading and installing such a program, we must ask ourselves, "Do I really know what I'm doing?"

Usually BSOD happens when people who don't know what they are doing mess with software that they haven't been trained to use. Furthermore, just because it happened after an install of this program, that doesn't necessarily mean that the program itself is faulty.

There are many reasons an end-user may encounter the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD), some of which cannot be fully explained by the typical end-user and therefore should not be automatically attributed to a particular program without first understanding exactly what caused the BSOD in the first place.

Some programs just don't play well together and due-diligence also falls upon an end-user to know what they are doing before they mess with something as serious as computer security!

    "Seems To Work Well !"

    October 21, 2012   |   By tonester59

    Version: Zemana AntiLogger Free 1.0.0.833

    Pros

Free Protection against an often overlooked threat. Seems compatible with my other security programs. Auto updates. Requires virtually no user interaction, other than a simple setup process ('takes about 2 minutes.) I've noticed no system drag at all.

    Cons

    None so far.

    Summary

This program follows a great philosophy: Do one thing, and do it well. Of course, I won't actually know well it works until it shows a screen that it's blocked an attack - it's like a "no news is good news" kind of deal - but at least it doesn't throw a phony attack at you just to show that it's working like some companies would, which is to Zemana's credit. That goes a long way towards establishing trust and credibility with me. I also really appreciate the program's light system impact and compatibility with everything on my system. My hat's off to Zemana - this one's a winner!
