From Indi-Software :Wine Journal is the beta version of new, free online web-software available at www.thepeopleswines.com. www.thepeopleswines.com is recommended over Wine Journal. First of all, the website is free. It has all the features of Wine Journal in its My Journal section, as well as My Cellar, Wine Finder, Wine Lists, Wine Spots, Wine Suggestion Generator, and All About Wine information section and forum. If you have a cell phone that can access the internet, then the website allows you to browse the Wine Finder or look up wines in your My Journal account while shopping for wine. Wine Journal is still beneficial if you want access offline, or if you have slow internet connection speed. Wine Journal stores and sorts wine by name, date, price, body, dryness, varietal, color, user rating, nationality, and finish, as well as an imported picture in JPEG format. Sortable by up to three of the criteria mentioned. Options to add, edit, and remove entries. Version 1.1 includes unspecified updates.

Version: Wine Journal 1.1
"thepeopleswines.com is better and FREE!"
Pros: At thepeopleswines.com they offer the same type of database for wines as does this Wine Journal, but it's got a public database for FREE with an option to subscribe to a personal My Journal account.
Cons: At thepeopleswines.com you can sort by 5 criteria, not just 3 like this Wine Journal. You can search by Name or Winery too. Chat forum, info section, wine spots, as well as a personal My Journal account.

Version: Wine Journal 1.1
"Simple and sufficient for what I wanted"
Pros: It does what it claims; keeps track of wines I liked, and wines I didn't. I can sort through the wines by 3 of the criteria I want to (a lot nicer than just writing down wines I like).
Cons: For $7, it's actually a really cool program; there really isn't much more I would want from any wine software.
