"Very well done."
Version: WebCopier 4.1.5
Pros
Fast, doesn't seem to miss anything, creates mirror website images on your PC.
Cons
Seems to search external links even when it's set not to do that. Does not like to be paused or otherwise interrupted.
Summary
I've only worked with one of my own websites, intending to upload the mirror image to another of my websites. Not easy to do. WebCopier puts its thumbprint on every single page, top and bottom - at a minimum. Search engines like Google are likely to avoid such location transfers unless you somehow remove the prints. But it works fine, especially for obtaining a mirror image on your local drive. Does not work with Mac.
I mistakenly submitted a fairly positive rating for this product, thinking it to be an open source crawler, HKTrack (or something) that I have used with good results. In contrast, this product is so bad I removed it almost immediately. WebCopier's features are so limited that it is not worth the trouble of downloading, in my opinion.
