Easily control which programs or people are allowed to access your computer's webcam. Disallow Skype, or any other program to use the webcam without your approval. Control which programs or people are allowed to access your webcam. Set a password and your kids won't access the webcam without your permission. Installing WebCam Lock in your computer lets you block or allow the access to the webcam for each program. You'll continuously know what program is trying to access the webcam and will be able to easily allow or deny that behavior. Once you install WebCam Lock, each time a program tries to access the webcam a confirmation window will be shown on the screen. At that moment you will be able to allow or deny the access. Only those programs that you allowed will be able to access the webcam. Once you have allowed access, while any program use the webcam an icon will be clearly shown on the screen reminding you the webcam is recording.
