Overall, Video To Flash Converter is an adequate tool for transforming video files into Flash. Don't be fooled by the Windows Media icon on the toolbar, though. For some reason, WMV is the one major video format this program can't convert.
The ones it can convert are MPEG, AVI, MPEG-4, and MOV (though one of our test systems had trouble unpacking a QuickTime MOV file). Other than that, Video To Flash Converter is unremarkable. Video options include quality, frame rate, screen resolution, and keyframe. The meager audio settings consist of compression and quality. The only notable feature is the ability to save settings in a separate file and use them for later conversions.
The interface is slightly better than average, and the separate Flash player is welcome, but neither justifies the $60 price tag. Anyone who needs a Flash converter can find the same functionality or better for a good deal less.
