This keylogger performs its basic function well, but lacks several features found in others of its class. TypeTeller goes to work right after the executable is run, recording each keystroke, visited Web site, and application used. It does such a good job of hiding itself you'll even have to hunt to find it; it does not create a desktop or Start menu icon. Once you find the executable, you'll see a straightforward application with clearly labeled buttons to view the log report, erase the log files, and terminate the application, among other basic options. While other keylogging programs allow you to e-mail reports or block program access, this one doesn't. Oddly, it gives significant real estate to a bundled e-book unrelated to keylogging. This freeware is a decent selection for users who desire stealth monitoring without the bells and whistles found elsewhere.Publisher's description
From Mindhills :TypeTeller 2006 is a free keyboard logger for Windows. It allows you to keep a chronological record of everything that is typed on the keyboard, including chat, email and passwords. In addition, TypeTeller identifies and reports the title of the active window. You can use TypeTeller to recall your own keyboard entries or to monitor the online and offline activity of your children or your employees. Version 2006 build 0146 fixed the following bugs: running TypeTeller on Windows systems with specific security updates that caused the system to freeze; incorrect date entry in log file.

"Wonderful Keylogger hidden from add or remove progams!"
Pros: This progam does what it says. It basically doesnt even require an install. By default it runs on startup so its always recording the host and any key that he/she types. The thing I like the best is that it can be safely be ran from a remavable drive. (yay)
Cons: doesnt hide its process from windows task manager(sigh...) so it remains hidden from computer noobs but if someone knows what their doin they can easily stop the process directy from windows task manager.

"This program is simple, small, and versatile"
Pros: The most simple keylogger I've ever tried. It can easily be used from a removable disk. Only one file is needed to run the program. The listed process can be given any name making the program harder to identify. Doesn't alter the registry and leaves your system clean if you decide to delete it. A straight forward tool that really does what it says.
Cons: Many features will remain hidden unless one decides to read the help file. A tip of the day would be appreciated.

"it does not log keytrokes to enter asian characters!"
Pros: you do not need to install it, just run and it is ok, so you can use it without administrator rights.
fully stealthy except for the fiirst time you start itCons: -I use the Microsoft IME for chinese characters, it does not record ANYTHING in Character input mode, also not the phonetic pinyin input from the leyboard!
Summary: I like the product, it is simple and does the job well!
The fact that it does not log asian font input keystrokes is a very specific problem. - See all 3 user reviews Write review
