This utility supplies a quick way to rid your PC of needless files, folders, and applications. After launch, Trash It must first scan your PC to catalogue its contents. The program then logs any subsequent changes you make to your hard drive or registry, and alerts you to new occurrences the next time you scan your PC. You then can choose to remove any entry you no longer want. Besides uninstalling programs, Trash It also can ferret out junk data, such as TMP and BAK files, temporary folders and Internet files, and Recycle Bin documents. You can schedule cleaning sessions at regular intervals and allow or disallow specific folders from the scanning process. The interface is rather bland and crude-looking, but at least it doesn't confuse you with unnecessary icons. Although simple, Trash It marks one more way for regular downloaders to keep their PC spic-and-span.

Pros
I have downloaded/installed several updates over the years, easy to use, very effective when having to Un-install a program. I download/install a LOT of freeware/shareware, (purchase-Register most of these), noticed after updating to Trash It V 1.80 that I have just passed the 400 Files in the Trash It Folder. I NEVER, EVER, have had a problem with this software, just a well functioning program.
