From TiVo:TiVo Desktop is an easy-to-use application that lets you publish and share digital music, photos and TiVo recordings between your networked TiVo Series2 DVR and your computer. Digital Music & Photos and the TiVoToGo feature come included with your regular paid subscription to the TiVo service. With new TivoToGo Tranfers you can easily transfer your favorite recordings on your TiVo box to your computer. You can also view your entire digital photo library on your TV screen and access and control and play your entire digital music collection from your TV screen.

Version: Tivo Desktop 2.7
"Absolutely terrible software!"
Pros: Easy to install.
Cons: Does not work. Will not connect to TiVo on my LAN. Wasted hours tweaking firewall settings & pinging. Uninstall does not work either. Had to manually delete TiVo folder and use 3 registry cleaners to rid system of TiVo's useless entries.
Summary: Stay away from this piece of #@$%^%$#$@#.....!!!

Version: Tivo Desktop 2.7
"Version 2.7 disabled all TIVO to PC communication"
Pros: Nothing- it disbled my TIVO to PC communication.
Cons: I was unable to get 2.7 to ever work with my network and PC. While Version 2.6 worked flawlessly for me- no memory leaks as reported by others- this latest version would never work correctly. What's worse is the pathetic technical support TIVo has.
Summary: The product is not functional for me, and based on the TIVO support forums, I am not alone.
