The program is designed to protect the network from unwanted magic packets, to help the delivery of broadcast traffic between subnets and to reduce the load on the network infrastructure between subnets. This utility works as a UDP proxy server for magic packets, which can filter and modify incoming magic packets and forward them to other network addresses.
