Cons
Didn't work for me in Windows 7
Summary
I tried the process recommended by the earlier poster, but still received an error message: "The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you are running." I am using Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bit. Bummer.
Love this program
pyrocrafter
Pros
It worked a treat in XP, loads in my Windows 7 but at them moment, it freezes up when trying to install a font and greys out the add to collection command but I'm going to try the instructions from comment number 1 - fingers crossed. I find this invaluable for my design work.
Cons
Blips in Windows 7
Summary
I find this a really simple and effective font viewer and arranger, so I can quickly go to fonts of similar styles for certain designs.
It works with Windows 7!! Hooray!

Pros
This is an outstanding program (and the only one I'm aware of) that lets you compare fonts. There's a character map so you can see all the characters in a font. You can also type in your own words to see what they'll look like in each font.
Cons
I really can't think of any.
Summary
I was able to get this to work in Windows 7. I downloaded the file (NOT the install file but the smaller EXE file) then unzipped it with 7-Zip into the Downloads file it was in (I tried to unzip it into a Font Thing file I created under Program Files but that didn't work). After I'd successfully unzipped it I moved the unzipped files to the Font Thing file I'd created under Program Files, double clicked the application file and it opened. I'm very happy to still have access to this helpful program on my new computer!

Great app for any graphics user.
Cons
None. Except the original developer didn't stayed behind his great creation and didn't update it.
Summary
What I did to install it on my Vista x64 PC was I opened setup.exe file on my home networked XP machine and when promted for install directory, I selected networked Vista PC's Program folder and installed it through local network. Give it a try.
