With Super Home Suite, even nonarchitects can design and landscape the house of their dreams. The intuitive interface takes you step by step from foundation to roofing. Then, with simple drag-and-drop, you add everything from wall sockets to trees. Super Home Suite comes with a huge library of interior and exterior objects, and the built-in editor can help you add more. Changing wall materials is simple too. Most exciting, you can instantly preview your creation in 3D under several kinds of lighting. The catch? The trial version is too stingy. It's one thing not to let users save their plans, but disabling tools, objects, and functions (including Undo!) makes evaluating the program very difficult. It was easy for me to use. It takes a great deal of time as any product of this nature would.
Cons
Porches can not be deleted. When adding a wall the mouse can not be moved back more than once on a wall section. Needs more realistic graphics especially in the Kichen sink and cabinets. Only one shower configuration.
Summary
I have used this product and it worked for me. I need an updated version. A lot of time has went into the design of this product. I wish I had the skill to use it in it's full potential. I would buy this product again.

This is fun to play with. The graphics are on par with the old Doom 2 game, and I burned a number of hours just fiddling with it. It's fairly intuitive and it doesn't take long at all to do the basics.
Cons
There are enough little glitches in the trial software, that I don't feel it's worth the risk to spend the money to see if the official product is better. Adding textures to walls and other surfaces, i.e. brick to the outside and paint to interior walls, is a joke. You have to stand behind the wall and hope it textures the other side. It's just as likely to decide to go through multiple "surfaces" and brick the inside of a closet or the sky, or something random. It's a major pain. Couple this with the deactivated "Undo" feature on the trial software (why? what would it hurt to be able to "undo"?) makes it nearly impossible to do anything except leave the entire structure all white.

Dear Sir or Ma?am,
I am returning this software and documentation in order to request a refund for this product in accordance with your warranty statement.
1. Incorporate an ?intelligent? wall layout that keeps square angles square until made otherwise.
2. Show clearly ?double walls? overlaid on each other because of the inconsistent nature of the wall drawing method.
3. Make it simple to keep outside walls at one thickness and interior walls at another without changing the entire house.
4. Zoom and pan functions should be available via the mouse scroll wheel or by side panning with a mouse button depressed. Your software reflects a Windows 3.1 mentality.
5. Fixtures and objects should be labeled in some way allowing the user to evaluate the object without having to add it to the structure to find out what it is.
6. Roof options are an important shortcoming that eventually drove me to replace this software with another one.

8. How about individual room dimensions automatically created as you define the space?
9. What kind of math does this thing use to calculate square footage? It will give different answers to the same floor plan.
10. What if I want to move the house on the lot layout. Well, I can do it one story at a time. Seriously.
Is that all, you ask? Well no, but like the software you sold me for good money, you?ll only get about half of what you need to get the job done. This software isn?t house designing software; it?s a play game for people who want to decorate a virtual doll house.

It seems as though this product would be perfect for my needs. I just want to see how my renovations to my existing home would look.

The Demo is very limited, so I purchased the product, but cannot register it. I am like a rat stuck in a maze with no end. I have been given a license key, but no serial number. To register the product you need a serial number. It's ridiculous.
