• Easy method to crop PDF

  It is intelligent enough to group pages together which can all use the same overlay. See my How-To guide below.

  Summary

  1. Open Briss by clicking on the .jar file. 2. Click on File &gt; Load file and select a PDF file. 3. You will be asked to indicate excluded pages. This really means that the "excluded" pages will show up by themselves, not grouped with others.. Thus you can edit them differently. For example if page 1 is the image of the book, you might want to keep it the size and shape it already is. 4. You will see several groups of pages, as well as the "excluded" page(s) which are alone. 5. Click on Select all. 6. Click on Rectangle above and select Set Size. Enter 100 150 (Note, Briss will modify the size as it thinks fit.) 7. Go to the "excluded" page(s) and right-click, then select Delete Rectangle. This page will stay its native size. (If you change your mind, you can copy the overlay format from another group of pages.) 8. Use your mouse (left-hold) to center the overlay for each group of pages. 9. If a group accidentally ends up with two overlays (numbered 1 and 2), you can right-click and Delete Rectangle to get rid of one of them. 10. Once you are satisfied, select Action above and select Crop PDF. 11. It will show the name of the new file (which you can change). Press Save.<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Dec 29, 2015<p/>An alternative method to setting size as indicated above is to use the mouse to enlarge or reduce the width and length. After doing this, return to step 5 to Select all, and then use the new size in step 6, or copy that group's layout to the other groups.) Also note re #11, if you change the filename to a name which already exists, Briss will overlay the original file without a warning message. So better to rename the file after it is created by Briss. The overall process is very quick and easy.
