"Lost data, wretched customer support."

Pros
When it works--intermittently--it's really cool, keeping a running backup of often-used files, and a cache of relatively static files.
Cons
It really doesn't work very well, and when it breaks--which it does way too often--customer support is simply unavailable: After I'd had it for a few weeks, it suddenly stopped syncing my files. After a week of trying to get someone to respond to my cries for help, it spontaneously started working again, "coincidently" just as I got the tech staff's attention. Then, two weeks ago, I discovered that 90% of my stored files were missing. I sent a total of five emails, and tried twice to use LiveChat, only to be bumped after 1/2-hour wait. It took several days to get them to respond to my request to cancel the account.
Summary
A good idea, but they don't seem to be able to get it to work. Because the technology is clearly faulty, I would never use them for anything important; because they have wretched customer service, I would never use them for anything. Sorry.

"NO RECOVERY AFTER DATA LOSS. SERIOUS FLAW"

OK WHEN IT WORKS. Staff were quick to refund the annual payment.
Cons
ERASED over 30 Gigs of my data. Support staff could not help at all. They have no log of events NO hope of rescue or recovery. No explanation so NO way to prevent the same happening again!
Summary
USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Sugarsync can not and will not help you if data is lost. Recovery and rescue is NOT possible.

Cons
User's Guide has special words, familiar to the writer, but not to me and I'm afraid to do something wrong. Some passages (to me) are written in opaque english that makes me really insecure I know what I'm doing. Suggestion: HIRE AN OUTSIDER TO HELP!
