"Awful service, expensive and hard to use. Don't do it!"
Pros: I think it's great that you can create your own stamps.
Cons: First of all, it's very unclear that there is a monthly fee to use this sotftware. I was not aware of it until I saw additional charges on my credit card. Secondly when I ordered my stamps and paid EXTRA for them to be sent priority express mail - they arrived late! I was very upset and contacted the company, they did not apologize nor offered any reimbursement. Then when I tried to cancel my service, I was told you can ONLY do this over the phone. WHAT?! This is an online product, but yet you can't cancel online? You have to call during business hours PST time. I live in Shanghai, China and calling the US isn't exactly the easiest thing for me to do.
Overall this company is awful - bad service, expensive and honestly not that easy to use.
I wouldn't recommended it to anyone.

Version: Stamps.com 6
Pros: Free priority mail tracking, professional and flexible printing of postage (envelopes or labels), a record of every transaction, automatic debit of additional postage, interfaces with Outlook and Word, free scale, free postage--what's not to like? Ithink many of the criticisms of this packge are from folks who are trying to use it for home. If you are considering using a typical Pitney Bowes setup for small office use, this system is far superior. Envelopes and postage can be printed from any computer in the office (via networked printers). The labels really are not expensive, and you can print postage on any sized envelope that a printer can accomodate. I like it and have recommended it to many other small business owners who have universally enjoyed it as well.

"Rip off---BEWARE! Not a "free" trial"
Pros: absolutely NONE
Cons: Deceptive marketing (not a Free Trial). HIGH MONTHLY FEES. Unable to use the service, and then unable to cancel the service. Poor customer service.
SCAM!Summary: I signed up for a "free" trial period. Unfortunately it is not free as when the 28 days (not month as advertised) and you don't close the account, they change you for that month! When I called to complain, the Indian customer service rep told me t... read more >>

Cons: Couldn't use the service then couldn't cancel the service.
Summary: Stay away difficult to cancel I never was able to use the service and they kept charging.
