  Had to download C++-redistibutable as part of install. Rebooted as instructed and got nothing but wallpaper. CTL+ALT+DEL brings up Task Mgr, and have to start deleting SVCHOST.EXE entries until the icons, etc. finally appear. But then little else works. Prior version of SpCatcher on another XP machine worked fine.

  Nothing to like here. Good name maybe. Even the download didn't work right which tells you something from the git-go.

  Cons

  This worthless software acts like it was written by a programmer working on a high school project. The program doesn't respond to commands. It won't shut down, it found nothing and continues to send message boxes warning about my printer.

  Summary

  Total piece of junk...thankfully I could uninstall it all the time it sent me messages about my printer. Don't waste your time with this garbage...this company needs to fire the guys who created this junk. Here's a tip: offer a free version that works and IF IT DOES, I'll buy the full version.

  Rapid updates, aggressive scans, great features and potentially a nice product with good GUI.

  Cons

  Simply fails to work or play with other applications. Huge hit on system resources. Seems to ccollect data more than it actually scans for bugs. Cannot run right on 98% of computers out there. Avoid!

  Summary

  I keep trying products from this company and they all fail to work in a smooth and stable manner. They are resource hogs, or interfere with regular system functions. They are buggy, unfinished or poorly coded. They have great features, a nice intuitive interface, but nonetheless, I have to remove them because they kill my system stability and speed.

  It's a pice of crap!!! It goes on your computer and changes so many config setting, that your computer will never work the same again. The program never ran once.

  Summary

  I put this crap on my computer and now my computer wont work. I can't delet the program either. My computer runs at snail speed now. The short cut for my computer is lost. And most of all It won't let me do a system restore. just to name a few things that it messed up. The makers should be reported to someone for making such a pice of crap!! Now I have to put out money to have my computer fix. Please stay away from this program.
