"Does not work but they got my contact info."

    December 13, 2010  |   By exicee

    Version: Spin Wizard 2.0

    Pros

    Sounded good in listing

    Cons

Unverified information such as authenticity certificate when you go to download.
Require all your contact information, full name and email to get "free" donwload.
No directions or help (it is there but is no good)

    Summary

I will keep this short and sweet. At the price of "free" I was not going to be picky but this was awful. First as I started the download, I was warned of unverified this and unknown that regarding the company and certificate of authenticity. Ok, I'll take the chance. Next they want my full name and email address to download..... Ok, it is free, so I take chance number two....here you go. Then the program didn't work. I input my text and tell it to "spin".... nothing. I try it again and hit an alternate button "start wizard" and nothing. Ok, maybe I am missing something so I go to the help tab. The help document is one sentence (if I recall correctly) that basically tells you to add your text and hit "start wizard". I had already done that and it did nothing. I tried highlighting, spinning, start wizarding and every combination of the above I could do. Then it locked up completely. This was actually no loss since it was only a door stop when it was not locked up anyway. I had to "force quit" to make it go away. Now I have added untrusted software to my mac and given away my precious name and email to "who knows who". A complete waste of time. BTW during the process of downloading I noticed many ads and offers to buy their bigger "bundle" of other features and products, all at $$ per month. My test is over, no thanks to this and traffic magnet, the parent company. MH

    "What a joke."

    November 5, 2010  |   By martar

    Version: Spin Wizard 2.0

    Pros

None. Couldn't even run the program without them taking my email.

    Cons

They want your email before the program even starts. What a gimmick. Garbage.

    Summary

Don't even try this. Move on.
