Record songs from analog records or cassette tapes into your computer.
With SonicStage Mastering Studio you can record songs into your computer via an audio device. Not only can you record songs directly from an external player connected to your computer's input terminal, you can also record songs via an external USB audio device compatible with ASIO device. Many external USB audio devices have multiple types of terminals that allow you to record songs from various external players or devices. SonicStage Mastering Studio provides the Standard mode and the DSD mode. The DSD mode enables you to record and output songs precisely without using external effect plug-ins. SonicStage Mastering Studio has various functions, such as to adjust input level (volume) automatically, to start recording at a predetermined input level ("synchro-recording"), and to divide songs automatically, etc. Using these functions allows you to record songs into your computer optimally and simply.
I've no idea! I tried to install this software, only to get a message saying "The target software suitable for updating is not installed". Nowhere on CNet was I given the impression this was just an upgrade.
Cons
See above.
Summary
I don't really have any more to add - I couldn't use the 'upgrade' because it just wouldn't install. Where is the 'original' on CNet? Why on the download page wasn't I told it was just an upgrade version?
