  Using US Imperial, trying to select "Cups" (ex: 1 1/2 cups) gives you "items." Not very useful!

  I just downloaded this program too and had the same problem with cups. But I went to File-Set Up in the open window of the SoftCuisine and changed Units from UK imperial to US Imperial. The problem is solved. check it out

  The program would be a great one for those who like to stay organized. It has a great potential to give exactly what those of us need...a way to put it all together at our finger tips.

  Cons

  The problems I had, were that the "cups" feature still did not work. I even downloaded the recommended 2.1 beta version that the publisher recommended to fix the problem, but the problem was not fixed. In fact, there was no "drop" box to select from, and it would not allow me to enter "cup" or "cups". <p> <p>I would recommend researching to make sure the program works before downloading it.

  Got so bothered by 'cups' issue, I never found out.

  Cons

  Downloaded v2.1. Supposedly the 'cups' issue was fixed, but the units selection was so obnoxious, I never got to find out. The readme.txt said to doubleclick on units column, but that didn't work at all. Also, when the units entry went bad - the Quantity I had entered got messed-up.

  check the publishers website for the newest version to fix the 'cups' issue. overall it is easy to use. you can put in info for ingredients to generate meal costs, nutritional value, etc.
