You can reduce the time you spend filling out Web forms and logging onto subscription sites with RoboForm. The version 6 update improved usability significantly and replaced the old, clunky autofill window with a less-obtrusive toolbar. If you don't like the standard toolbar placement, you can run it at the bottom of the browser instead. That's the standard placement for Mozilla-based browsers. The program uses encryption algorithms such as Blowfish and AES to protect your data and includes a password generator. You can set up multiple identities with different credit-card numbers, passwords, and contact information. The trial limits the tab instances on each identity to three, but you can make plenty of identities.
Our favorite feature is Login, which with one click will go to a Web page, fill in a form, and submit your information. The program handles check boxes and radio buttons and supports about 20 languages. The new Search field in the toolbar makes finding and accessing any information quick, and we appreciate support for hot keys. Besides returning matching logins and other RoboForm entries, the search box will offer to search Google, Yahoo, and the Merriam-Webster Dictionary for your term. RoboForm will save active Web users a lot of time.

Pops up when you need it and then gets out of the way. Very little maintenance effort. At a deeper level it allows you to edit fields and add notes for a particular login site. Apparently they keep updating it.
Cons
At the operational / user level no objections. However, I HATE THE WAY THEY OFFER AN UPGRADE THAT REPLACES THE ONE YOU PURCHASED, THEN REQUIRE YOU TO PAY AGAIN FOR THE NEW VERSION. I had a version for a flash drive that was doing just fine. I got an offer to upgrade to the latest version with no clear statement that there would be a cost, which when installed, stopped working after 10 days or something. I was informed I had to purchase the new version, and I can not get back to the original version I already purchased.
Summary
An execellent product that does what it offers to do with little required of the user. HOWEVER - you need to be careful of the companies avaricious product replacement policy. Something other users have commented on.

"From The Beginning The BEST."

Most Accurate and "intelligent" I've ever used. Easy to understand. Straight forward for the most part. I love the CUSTOMIZABLE SAVE FORMS and FILL Forms feature. Quite Flexible. NOW, covers all major platforms-- I had to leave them when I went Mac--they were only PC then. ARRRRRGGG!!!!! I had to accept 1password. I have come to rely on it and it does offer a few bells I really like Robo does not. But I am in the process of converting all my main stuff to the ROBO version that supports Mac.
Cons
For many who PAID for several seats as I did--for the Pro version BEFORE they opened up their minds about supporting other platforms-- It was very confusing which of their products to buy. AND I DON'T APPRECIATE paying again when I was sold "LIFETIME" licenses. Other than that.... Nil.
Summary
If you want the most flexible, secure and great online aide out there--this is it. Oh yea, you can use your file system to find and item- even Mac spotlight-- each file is password protected if you set them so- One of the other products i've tried will allow you to search their database with the OS of the computer you are using. If you use a Mac and practice shrewd security policies-- There should NOT be any argument of whether this ability to find your stuff by your Computers built-in OS search is or is not a security risk.

I have been using it more and more frequently for over a year now and have been quite satisfied. I find it easy to use and like that I can synchronize it on the three computers I often use. I have been able to customize things where necessary without problems.
Cons
Haven't discovered any real problems yet. I do recommend a strong password for your protection.

It doesn't seem to always work effectively with IE 9 and/or the latest Chrome.

Pros
Easy to install & learn. I had program installed, all passwords (from various sources) imported and functioning with no glitches. Feel RoboForm is very secure & reliable. Auto-update works as it should. I love that I can have separate entries for user name & password - for those sites that I enter info on separate page. Also love that I can store a wide variety of other information securely. Feels extra secure having a master password that secures the already secure info.
Cons
None that I've found so far.
Summary
If you're looking for a superb password safe, I recommend RoboForm highly. I've used other similar programs in the past and none were as great as RoboForm.
