There's nothing particularly wrong with River Past Video Cleaner, but its interface and features left us lukewarm. The converter performed fine in our tests, though its range of capabilities is limited. For instance, Video Cleaner can't convert files into MPEG video format to enable their viewing on VCD and DVD players. The interface simply consists of a file list and a format pane wherein you can choose codec and format settings. The list of videos to convert can include files of different formats. The program requires an external video player to preview files. We did find one minor bug: When browsing for the output directory, you must manually copy and paste its path. Perfectly serviceable, River Past Video Cleaner will satisfy those without sophisticated demands for their video conversions.Publisher's description

"Worst Converter I have ever seen!"
Pros: Nothing at all. Free Softwares like VirtualDub and its mods, AutoGK, Auto gurdian, AVI.net - are at least 50 to 100 times better than this one!
River Past Softwares are like Cave-man tools in front of those!

Its the Worst Encoding software i have tried yet ! And its not even FREE ? God help River Past to make softwares that have some good use!

Cons: It needed so many extra 3rd party filters to be installed and then they DID NOT seem to work with the program. After 1 hour of not getting this software to work, I just gave up and uninstalled it..

Cons: This company takes your money and will not send an activation code for the software. You can send all the e-meil messages you want to customer service . . . they never reply.
Avoid these rip-off artists unless you just want to lose your money.
