What's in a name? A lot of hassle if your computer doesn't recognize it. This program helps to clean up unrecognized files in a snap, and what's more, it's free. The program launches as a small desktop application. You're offered three options: one, to tweak general file settings; two, to rename files on a large scale; or three, to rename files one by one. The interface is plain but easy to use; original folders appear on one side of the screen, and change fields appear on the opposite. The process is quick and virtually painless. Overall, a great program for file renaming.

I've always liked this little program. Quick and easy to use.
Cons
Only con I have now it that i cannot get it registered. A month and no response from the author. Program doesn't work until you register it, even though he says it is not.
Summary
Maybe they are on an extended vacation, but sure is not a good way to advertise your program. Not much use if you do not respond to registration emails. And the program is crippled until you get a registration number.

This program has many cons but one is really fantastic: You can give specific names to your files only one by one!

The program's only feature is changing specific group of letters which sould exist in the original names. You can not give new names to your files automaticly. If I want to rename my files one by one, why do I need to use this program? :D

installs quickly and is easy to use. intuitive interface. in less than a minute after i finished installing, i had changed the extensions of all my files. i, in fact, was looking for the next step before i realized i was already done. :)
