  Easy to setup & configure. A breeze yo use. Very utilitarian. With the Google Sync I have access to all my info - anytime, anywhere.

  Pros

  Simple to use, good calendar display, flexible repeating options, many ways be reminded. Complete flexibility as to how far in advance the reminder occurs.

  Cons

  No significant cons. Minor complaint that the date range for the FIND function defaults to the current year rather than being set by the user.

  Easy to use Nice display Start up in the morning and I have a full display of the day's events.

  I used this app for over a month until I decided to purchase it. That gives a nice time period to decide and it might even be longer. It has been great for me. I really do recommend it. :)

  Pros

  RemindMe shows all upcoming recurring events on Windows startup or whenever else you want. It's flexible, clear, easy to use. It keeps a small 'date' icon on the taskbar for quick reference. Works with Win XP, Win 7 and now Win 8. One license fee lasts years. Customer service is quick and helpful. It even backs itself up.

  Cons

  Can't think of one.

  Summary

  I've been using Remind me for years and years through several Windows operating systems. Never lost data. I rely on it to all birthdays, anniversaries, and other recurring events. It pops up on Windows startup, takes you to the Win 8 desktop when it does - another plus - and puts a handy 'date' icon on the taskbar. I just bought my first upgrade for Win 8 and it works perfectly.

  Allows only one reminder, so if your spouse wants a separate one, etc. you will be frustrated. I think it should be simple enough to allow for multiple files,

  Pros

  This program is intuitive & easy to use. It's very flexible & I love that audible alerts can be set up for any timeframe. It doesn't slow my computer down & I can't imagine how I lived without this handy little office assistant before now.

  Cons

  No cons and I've tried hard to find some.

  Summary

  Fabulous! Trial time is generous. Download this...I can't imagine there is anything better than this program for organizing your life.

  Pros

  One-click access from TaskTray icon. Year, month, week and day modes. Shows birthday reminders with person's next b-day age. Multiple event configurations for fonts, colors, sounds, etc. Alarms are dependable and easy to manage.

  Cons

  No dislikes. A couple of suggestions: Would like an "opacity" adjustment; ie: 0% to 100%. Would like the option to see year-week numbers in year and month modes.

  Summary

  There are MANY Calendar programs that have a bazillion features; either stand-alone or embedded in other programs. I didn't want a gizmo that cooks my breakfast, washes my car and wakes me up every day! When I found Remind-Me (several years ago) I was looking for a stand-alone Calendar program that had instant access from the TaskTray and would remind me of impending birthdays. Since then, I have come to depend on it for birthdays, chore reminders, vacation plans, filter replacements (around house) and cooking and shopping plans. Bottom-line: It's designed to do one general task VERY WELL: Record, organize and display a Calendar of Events, and remind the user of those events; with ease of access, adjust-ability and a variety of options. And, just as important, you can see a CALENDAR instantly with one click from the TaskTray. My *THANKS* to Beiley!

  Pros

  Stays in my tray until I need it and I like "SIMPLE" The program is great. I have used it for several years now.

  Cons

  There is nothing not to like.

  Summary

  Wuld like to be able to "Mouse Over" to bring up notes, etc.
