Version: Registry Wizard 1
"Scary, very scary software..."
Cons: I was initially impressed by this program because the registry scan was very fast. However that quickly turned to concern when it claimed to have found 676 problems/errors in my registry.
I already use a few different registry cleaners plus I don't install a lot of software so my registry is usually quite clean. I wasn't expecting to see more than a few dozen keys needing some fine tuning.
As I looked through the list of "errors" to be fixed I realized that if I actually used this program to repair these "errors" my machine would be most likely become unusable. Sure, the power button might still work but I would lose my DVD drive, my internet connection, the ability to ever uninstall ANYTHING... the list goes on.
The program also claims to be able to backup and restore the registry but the buttons on that tab are labeled "delete" and "restore". I was afraid to try either one of them.
I wish anyone the best if they want to risk trying this program out, you're braver than I am.

Version: Registry Wizard 1
"It's primitive, but does the same."
Pros: It cleans the basic registry.
Cons: Because it's primitive, there are some current registries that it doesn't fix.
