"You could hire an accountant for that price!"
Version: QuickBooks Pro 2011
Pros
Used to balance my checkbook and calculate payroll checks
Cons
Each year the subscription goes up and less services are offered. If I don't upgrade the product by the end of this month, my payroll will be zeroed out? That's just bad business, but they will let you upgrade online for more money than you could pay on Amazon.
Summary
I'll start using a pencil and register before I spend another dollar on intuit!

"Does most of what I need, but often cumbersome. Costly"
Version: QuickBooks Pro 2011
Pros
Comprehensive small business accounting software that does almost everything I need for billing, customer tracking, taxes, reports, and ledger/check book functions. I've been a user for 15 years.
Cons
1. it can't email invoices via Gmail, only allows Outlook emailing (major bummer for me).
2. expensive
3. constantly trying to sell me products and upgrades that I don't want. For the price I paid, i really hate this.Summary
Very ood program for my small business accounting needs, but if i were starting over I'd look to cheaper program that has better email interface and better customer support.
