We appreciate how programs use dialog boxes to make sure we really, really want to delete that file or reformat that drive. Even so, most of the time, dialogs are a pain. They're always asking the same questions, getting the same answers. Luckily, there's PTFB (Push The Freakin' Button) Pro, a simple but fiendishly useful little macro program. Tell it which dialogs to watch out for and which buttons to push when they appear. Next time one does, PTFB Pro, well, pushes the freakin' button. PTFB Pro provides several fine-tuning options, including a delay setting for older PCs and slow-responding applications. Advanced users can record and edit sophisticated macros. You can even set PTFB Pro to start or not start macros depending on the hour and the day (though we can hardly think of any application for this feature). All in all, PTFB Pro can save a lot of time and annoyance for people who live on their PCs.

Pros
The most reliable of the tools I've tried. Using it currently at work to keep things running smoothly during holidays but it's also proving useful on my main PC. Works well with the general office apps I use, no problems with Excel here. Support is good, I got completely stuck with one macro but the support guy helped me get it working.
Cons
Quite a few macros need small tweaks to get them working 100%; I usually end up needing to reduce the playback speed a little. Took me a while to work out how to define a hotkey to run a macro.
Summary
Some tasks are done very easily while for others there's a bit of a learning curve, but hang in there because it's worth it.

Pros
Great idea. It sort of works, allowing changes of file extensions in Windows 7 for instance, suppressing the annoying "Do you really wanna?" prompt.
Cons
Macro recording with Excel windows doesn't work at all--consistently causes PTFB to crash. Worse, PTFB induces a bug which causes selected items (both in Excel and in file directories) to remain highlighted even after something else is selected. Copy, paste ceases to function properly because you can't select things. Only way to fix it is to reboot--shutting down PTFB doesn't kill the bug.
Summary
Not even close to ready for prime time. Sad, because it showed such promise in killing off annoying make-work Microsoft prompts.

Summary
It's possible it could work for many more people with the right support. I would use this product and rate it much higher if they would agree to phone support or screen sharing to help with executing multiple commands.

I use this a lot because I have software that requires human intervention and I believe in automation. This tool has sped up my production by 500%, no kidding.

Pros
This is an awesome download. I never tried a form, but I'm sure it would work great. I actually used this to vote for myself over and over in a poll (nothing important or official though ;-) <p>lol... <p>It has a great name too- you just can't beat this overall.
