Editors’ Review
This effective, easy-to-configure junk file removal tool lives up to its name. OneClick Cleaner's simple interface sports eight buttons over a file list. Any user is going to find this application easy to operate. There are actually two options: one-click find and remove, or you can scan and choose files to delete.
Setting the files to delete is very easy. The application includes a default list of more than 50 file types to remove. Users can add or remove file types with a click. One click scans your system for files that fit the parameters. The list is displayed by folder. Unfortunately, there is no way to sort the list by name, extension, or size. There are one-click buttons to select or deselect all listed files. Otherwise users must delete files one at a time. Testers found that the typical keyboard shortcuts to choose multiple files using the shift or control keys didn't work.
Assuming you properly set the file types, OneClick Cleaner is one of the easiest junk file removal programs in the genre. Any level user looking for a freeware removal tool will want to give this app a test.
