Ondesoft Screen Capture for Mac is a screen capture utility that works on Mac OS X machines and provides a number of useful screen-grabbing features. The licensed version of Ondesoft Screen Capture for Mac costs $29.95. Ondesoft Screen Capture for Mac installs easily.

The Ondesoft Screen Capture for Mac interface is clean and simple. A docked icon can expand to show the simple interface or you can shortcut the most commonly used capture processes. Icons let you choose whether to capture the full screen, a region, a menu, a window (scrolling and fixed), or all windows on the desktop. A timer can be invoked to allow you time to set the image up properly (such as displaying a pop-up menu). Once a screen capture has been obtained, an editing tool appears that lets you modify the image and save it, or you can have the files saved automatically to the desktop or clipboard. The editing tools are pretty good for a built-in editor, with adjustment of image and text overlays that should meet almost all requirements. You can save the output from Ondesoft Screen Capture for Mac in a number of formats. Some special effects like frames are included.

Ondesoft Screen Capture for Mac worked well in our testing. We could capture pretty much anything we saw on our screens, including very long scrolling windows, with ease. The editing tools were good enough for most of our needs. We had no problems with Ondesoft Screen Capture for Mac. Although the price is higher than most people will like, the tool works solidly.
