      "Simple, clean, effective"

      January 20, 2009  |

      Version: Network Messenger 1.0

      Pros

Minimal footprint, no registry entries, just run from whatever folder you choose to put it in. Professional looking... looks just like Windows Messenger.

      Cons

I had to use IP addresses for it to work. If your IPs are not static, it can be problematic when they change. You either have to delete the config and re-add contacts or edit the config file directly.

      Summary

I like the simplicity of this utility, but I'm not sure a computer novice could make it work.
