Publisher's description of Naomi
From Radiant Morning Tech:Naomi is an advanced Internet filtering program, easy to use, intended for families and kids in particular. Naomi is able to constantly monitor all Internet connections, protecting children from inappropriate online material - such as obscene or violent contents; pornography, pedophilia and erotism in the form of images or texts; sites that popularize drugs; gambling games; terrorism; hate propaganda; occultism; sects; blasphemy. Naomi does not rely on a simple list of banned sites; instead, it examines in real-time all the data being transmitted and received through any Internet application - such as Web browsers, chat programs, news readers.

This parental filtering application blocks perilous material from being accessed on your computer. Though it snubs some useful features, it includes one useful feature that we really liked.
When trying to access forbidden territory, Naomi's visceral user notification is great: it kills the Web browser. No warning, no explanation, just boom: program closed. Naomi's engine uses heuristic and semantic data filtering and can hide its system tray icon for covert functioning. The program's plain interface is password-protected and has no filter-related configuring options; you just click to start and that's it. As a result, some search results aren't even revealed because the program immediately detects the explicit words and shuts down the browser.
The app also blocks P2P file sharing and chat sessions. During testing, however, the program didn't block instant messengers when inappropriate words were used, and user-defined options comparable to those in other parental-control filters are greatly missed. Naomi provides a moderate level of protection for free, but locating more powerful parental-control programs isn't hard.

Version: Naomi 3.2.90
Pros: This product will run silently in the background, without anyone knowing. It is free and easy to install.
Cons: This product will install itself and then never show under you Programs, desktop, system tray, windows bar by the clock or Add/Remove tray. If you don't like it, you'll find it very hard to find it to remove it.
There are 1 million reasons to hate it. It will shut down anything remotely related to offensive behavior or comments. IT SHUTS DOWN THE WHOLE BROWSER. Flip it's gone. I have my IE7 with tabbed browsing along with my Firefox. Well, if you click on any article where sex or something relating sex or bad behovior it will shut down the whole browser, including all your other tabs. So if you're working on something, puff - it is gone. I hate that it can't be adjusted to be more liniant and I hate that you can't find were it sits on your system. It acts just like a virus, exept you put it there yourself!

"DONT DOWNLOAD IT EVER! (SCAM)"
Pros: Nothing!
Cons: I hate everything about this product. It was only on my computer for two seconds and started tampering with my files that it wasn't supposed to.
This program changed my password itself so I couldn't delete it. Uninstallation was almost impossible hijakthis wouldn't even get it off. Thank goodness for one of my security programs that caught it.... CYBERHAWK

Version: Naomi 3.2.90
Pros: None, zero, zilch!!!!! Must have been written by a terrorist, because it's only for control freeks!
Cons: Look people, I am an american and a beleiver in freedom of choice.
First, my children do not use my computer.
Second, If you can't trust your children then you have done a poor job at raising them and thats on you, not them!
Third, and most important is that America is a free country and that means freedom of choice for all.
Lastly, is this rubbish tries to take over your computer and it's next to impossible to uninstall.
