From NTI:
Dragon Burn enables Mac desktop and PowerBook notebook computer users to quickly and easily begin producing audio, data and mixed-mode CDs and DVDs without poring over the software's user's guide. The new Dragon Burn multi-burning engine allows users to simultaneously write multiple CDs or DVDs. It also fully supports new 4x DVD-R internal and external drives as well as advanced CD writes including recently released 52x CD-R and 24x CD-RW drives.
Using Dragon Burn, Mac and PowerBook users can easily produce their own audio and data CD and DVD discs as well as mixed-mode and CD extra discs as well as VCD and SVCD video discs. Users can mix and match AIFF, CDDA, MP3 or wave files to produce custom audio CDs. For CD and DVD data mastering applications, Dragon Burn fully supports ISO 9660 MS-DOS and Joliet, HFS (Mac OS) and HFS+ (Mac OS Extended) file systems. For Hybrid CDs and DVDs, users can select Mac OS and ISO 9660 file system combinations including data from previous ISO 9660 sessions.

"Works as advertised"
Version: NTI Dragon Burn 4.5.0.11
Pros
Able to burn multiple DVD's at one time.
Cons
During multiple burn unable to adjust burn speed. Automatically chooses fastest speed.

"Not ready for prime time."
Version: NTI Dragon Burn 4.5.0.5

Trying to use this on an Intel, dual processor, OS 10.5. Rapid growth of coasters follow. Damned thing will run up to 99% and stall on three burners. Next time it will work great. Sometimes it will work flawlessly for several times in succession, and then fall over dead.
FIX IT and you will make a fortune!

"BEWARE Of LICENSING SCAM"
Version: NTI Dragon Burn 4.1.20
Summary

NTI has this little trick in their licensing. When you purchase the license, you only have 90 days to download the software. On the 91st day you need to PURCHASE a new license for the same version!! I just talked to the pre-sales person and they confirmed this.
Not sure why they think this software is so valuable, but they make you jump through all sorts of hops to even get a demo, which is crippled. Time to check out other packages from companies that have sane licensing and customer support -
"Don't buy this turkey!"

They won't warn you when you talk to them, but this software does not operate multiple drives efficiently. It does fine with the super drive built in to an intel iMac. When one tries to use external drives, or, God help you, multiple drives, it bogs down and can take over ten times as long as it takes to burn a disk on the single super drive. They haven't any plans to fix the problem that they will discuss, but are very happy to take your money.
Lets all petition Toast to add a multiple drive capability to their program . -
"It does not work as advertised"
Version: NTI Dragon Burn 4.1.20
Summary

I am trying to use it on multiple drives using an Intel iMac OS X 10.4.10. I discussed the program with the sales people before I bought the program and they did not mention any difficulties. Like an idiot, I did not review comments here before buying. It works fine with a single drive. It is takes more time with multiple drives to make several copies than it would take to make the same number. one after another, on a single drive. It is enough to make me really angry that the company has not dealt with this problem and seems to have no plan to fix the issue,
Bummer when a great idea gets trashed by a silly company. -

"Works Great for Me!"
Version: NTI Dragon Burn 4.1.20
Summary

I've been using Dragon Burn for about a year and have had absolutely no problems whatsoever. I have a dual G4 tower with an aftermarket Pioneer 109 DL DVD burner added internally, running OS X 10.4.6. I've used Dragon Burn to burn dozens of CDs (music & data), DVDs and dual-layer DVDs. I've never had a bad burn.
I find the interface very straight-forward and intuitive -- I just click 'Data CD/DVD' and then drag my files from the finder -- how could it be any easier?
I see a lot of negative reviews here but for me at least, this has been a great product -- 5/5 stars. -
"flakey, not worth the trouble"
Version: NTI Dragon Burn 4.1.20
Summary

i bought this because it allowed me to use a drive not natively supported on Panther, and because it was inexpensive; i was able to forgive its faults as a temporary workaround, but now that i'm on Tiger, it still sometimes crashes burning discs with unicode names and frequently hangs my drive, and any other apps using the drive (iTunes, Disk Utility, etc) until i reboot; i've sent several problem reports via the support page but never gotten a peep of a response; the interface is also a joke, completely out of sync with UI standards
it's starting to seem as if development on this product has ceased and it is just being milked for whatever sales can be made -

Tried to write a DVD. Got an error: no sense code, despite the program recognising the drive fine.
Emailed support, no response at all.
