MeowMultiSound is a sound converter that supports mp3, wav and ogg sound files. It allows to convert files in both direction. For example you can convert wav to mp3 and mp3 to wav. You can convert as well from a wav file to an other wav file with other specifications. Or for example change a stereo mp3 file to a mono one. Features drag and drop support and an option to generate Id3v1 tags common to several files.
What's new in this version: Version 1.01 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

"Simple and to the point"

Pros
It's good for reducing the bitrate of mp3s. Get rid of all those 320kbps files and convert them to 128s! Acres of extra space on your hard drive with no noticeable difference in sound quality!
It does it quickly and effectively, just what I've been looking for.

It's a bit of a crap name!

I don't know why but it did not what I wanted it to do, and error messages came sometimes in french (I guess it was) what was no big help after all.
