Reduce or remove vocals from any music songs, making your own karaoke track.
Vocal Remover Pro can reduce or remove vocals from any music songs, making your own karaoke track. Start with a song you've downloaded from the Internet, music services, or extract a song from any music CD. Vocal Remover Pro can reduce or remove vocals from any MP3, M4A, WMA, OGG, AC3 music songs. Using sophisticated waveform sound inversion software technology, centered vocals without echo will be stripped away, and centered vocals with echo or reverb will be reduced automatically. Any remaining vocals provide a pleasing backup vocal effect. Your original recording must be in stereo and vocals need to be in the center of the stereo track; vocals on the left and right sides are not removed. After reduction or elimination of the centered vocals, you can write the music to a new CD, and use it in any karaoke machine, stereo, or portable player. You can now make your own karaoke tracks on your PC!
Your de-vocaled track will be just full of pops and crackles and to be honest just is unusable. Results are mixed with some vocals being completely removed and others seem to just dull the rest of the track whilst leaving clearly audible vocals in place.
Summary
Really not worth buying due to the pops and crackles. I suggest you use a sampler and just remove them manually if you want it done right.
Costly but not effective

Pros
It is very easy to use. It takes few seconds to remove the vocals from a given audio file. By utilizing this software, I saved my removed vocal audio file in MP3 player directly.
Cons
It is quite costly so everyone can not afford this tool. I have used some software to remove the vocal from audio songs but they all were cheap as compared to this utility. The demo version of this program works only for 30 seconds prior to the beginning of audio song.
Summary
Same as Audacity, except not free
CXDBrightSide
Pros
It works if you know what you're doing.
Cons
It's the exact same plugin that comes with Audacity (Which is and always will be free) packed into an EXE and sold for $25. I don't even think this is legal. Also, you rarely get high-quality results from this.
Summary
Don't but this. If you want instrumental songs, Google them. Try phrases like "instrumental," "karaoke," or "DDR/Dance Dance Revolution." I recommend a MediaFire crawler. If you absolutely cannot find it that way, use Audacity's plugin. You'll get the same result.
Don't Know if It Works Only 1st 30 Seconds of Song Demo
Pros
I don't know if there are any pros.
Cons
The developers of this software do themselves a disservice by only removing the first 30 seconds of vocals in the demo version. Few songs have any lyrics at all during that lead-in. I have no idea if this works.
Summary
Buyer beware. If you can't test it out, I wouldn't risk buying it.
doesnt work
