• Awesome DJ software for the computer savvy!

  Pros

  If you are computer savvy enough to edit your Windows registry, you should have no problem utilizing all of the features of this software. Otherwise, better to stick with Virtual DJ or something more user friendly. I especially like the fact that the program will keep all of the songs at the same set volume level since volume levels can be all over the board with music files. I also utilize the included .ots file conversion program because, for one reason, it gives me more control over the music file start and finish points.

  Cons

  None that I can think of other than more skins maybe.

  Summary

  Excellent pro DJ program for the computer savvy DJ, however, if you are not willing to spend the time required to become familiar with all of the amazing features of this advanced software, better to stick with Virtual DJ or some other similar software.   * None for me

  Summary

  I have tried virtual dj, traktor, megaseg, serato itch and others. NOTHING comes close to the "power of Ots". This software is amazing. It is rock solid.

  Great sound and a computer geek paradise

  Unless you are very computer savy you will be pulling your hair out, if the price doesn't do it. Figuring out how to use it will. Expect to spend endless hours learning this product. Too much of "doing this to get to that" and vise-versa. This is a great program if you like to tinker. Instructions are vague at best, and don't always address the issue you are having.

  Summary

  DJ's who have little time to devote to learning will hate it. Not user friendly for the average. OtsAV DJ was no doubt designed by computer geeks who want to be DJ's

  Ots is "A" number 1.....the best there is and I've tried them all.

  Cons

  The help desk is in Austrailia so it takes a day to get answers but they are good about writing back.

  Summary

  Ots is very stable and even a fat finger mistake does not screw up the song. The folder system is great if you take the time to use all the features.

• The Best DJ Software Out There!

  Pros

  I have tried several DJ software programs in the past and OtsDJ is by far the best! The Dynamics processor keeps all your audio playing at the same level so you don't have one song playing really loudly and the next really quietly. You have full control of the mix points (triggers) so if there is a track that you're not satisfied with where the trigger is, you can change it to suit you. The sound output is of course, fantastic!

  BEAT PARAMETER DIDN'T WORK IN AUTO DJ.TRACKS SIMPLY STARTED AND STOPPED AND COULD NOT RECORD. THIS IS AN ADD NOT FREEWARE **VERY DISSAPOINTED** .SPENT HALF THE DAY LEARNING AND LOADING FOR NOTHING . ONTHER PROGRAM THAT ACTUALLY DID WHAT THIS ONE IS SUPPOSED TO WOULD BE GREAT.

  Easy to use and amazingly capable. The compression is awesome if you need to control volume automatically such as for background music or a party.

  Cons

  Adds an identifying announcement periodically and you can't shut it off. I'd call that a limitation and is the only reason I didn't give it the maximum rating. Looks like you can shut it off in the paid version, but I can't see any casual or home user paying that much for a player. How about a home version at a lower cost?
