Erase files and folders on your Windows machine.

The content of the files which are erased by MacAppStuff Shredder (Windows) will be useless if they are ever recovered by specialist software. For added security, data can be overwritten up to 35 times and the name and date of the file or folder changed to random values. Both files and folders can be added to the list to be shredded. Files will have their content overwritten and then the file will be deleted.

Any folders in the list will be searched and any files residing in them will be shredded. The folder will then be deleted. If you choose to randomly rename and re-date files or folders, this will occur just prior to deletion. These two options are for added security. This ensures that it is impossible to categorize or understand any deleted files or folders which may later be recovered. Dates are changed to random up to the year 2040. You can add files or folders by using the "Add" and "Folder" toolbar buttons, or by dragging and dropping them from other applications either onto the list in the application's main window or the applications desktop icon.
