MP3 Quality Modifier's interface is impressively simple to operate, and we never felt confused by its commands. Its intuitive design and a selection of command icons make it a snap for users of any skill level to construct the perfect file size. You can select an individual MP3 or several MP3s at once. The onscreen options let you perfectly adjust the quality of your file. You can adjust bit rate, frequency, and stereo quality, though these features will probably appeal to more advanced users. However, novices can also benefit from MP3 Quality Modifier, since there's a default adjustment option that lets you choose between High Quality, Low Quality, and Portable Quality settings, and it adjusts all the elements automatically. The program converted a song in only a matter of seconds and maintained the original's content. MP3 Quality Modifier is light on special features, though we appreciate how it showcases the amount of space lost or added by each MP3 after it's converted. Overall, this is a great program for dialing in your MP3s to perfection.

MP3 Quality Modifier is a straightforward program that is able to easily change the quality of your MP3's in order to save disk space and/or to fit more music on your MP3 player while maintaining the desired level of audio quality and keeping all ID3 tags intact. The program is pretty simple to use: The first step is to drag and drop MP3 files on the file list. Various information such as the name, interpret, size and bit rate are displayed automatically. The next step is to select a preset which ranges from high quality over portable and compromise to low quality. More advanced users can choose from a variety of configurations such as bit rate mode and rate, sample frequency and the stereo modus. The process itself takes only a few seconds per song and is even able to adapt the folder structure (example: "Artist X" folder with "Album 1" and "Album 2" as subfolders) if that is wanted. Unlike other tools all ID3 tags like the title, artist etc. are automatically retained as well. Finally the result window allows comparing the original and created music files by listing their size differences.
What's new in this version: Version 2.2 added support for MP1 and MP2 files, new "Best quality" preset, and fixed small error during calculation of bit rate.

So i opened the program. It was extremely easy to use. The conversion took minutes for 8 songs. After it shows you the increase in size from original. I was extremely happy.
Oh.. never mind.
When I went to the mp3 file.. Nothing changed.
This does not work... Disappointing.

I thought it converted the original files but, It makes a copy on the desktop.... ANY WAY.... it works great. -

It's very easy to use.I recommend you watch a few minutes of the youtube video on how to use this product (just the first two minutes is enough). Set the quality to portable and process. I finished my compression project in less than five minutes!!

works perfectly for what i needed. that in itself is quite refreshing, and the fact that it did exactly what it claimed to do. no problems, as i said earlier , this is one i'll keep and i only keep .....oh, maybe 1 out of 25 programs i try. recommended for all music collections. very happy

Ugly interface, not working. I tried several times to change a few mp3's bitrates and each time it came an error message.
