Free DVD Video Burner writes prepared DVD videos, files, folders, like Video_TS from your PC (hard drive) to a DVD disk, which can be played on all home DVD players. Writes DVD-Video discs from any valid Video layout. The interface is very simple and self explaining. There is a field for input DVD video folder and the size bar which indicates occupied disc space. You can specify Disc title, change burning speed and temp files directory, set "Turn off computer if the process was finished successfully" and Disc ejecting function as well as function to remove DVD video after burning.

have to use regedit to reinstall drivers again.

Installed it and it looked like it was going to work, albeit very slow
Cons
Gave burn failure error message. Tried several more times with same results. It wasn't a mechanical problem with the burning device or defective discs as they worked perfectly fine with Nero. The program also wiped out all restore points in system restore, not sure if the program contains a virus or not, Microsoft Security Essentials came up clean, but only time will tell.
Summary
Lousy program, even if it would have actually worked, it is very limited in options and extremely slow. May contain a virus!

unable to put more than one video file onto the disk such as CD1+CD2. not worth it.
Summary
for best results just use windows dvd maker, it might be slow to encode but its worth the wait if you really want to watch a dvd. if you want speed, just put the movie on a memory key and watch it on a ps3 or something

When I used Windows XP on an older computer Free DVD Video Burner worked perfectly. But not now. Windows 7 doesn't let you do it. It must contain some special program or programs that keep you from using free DVD copy and burn software so you will just buy DVD movies and never attempt to make copies or back ups. If you want a copy you buy it and if it goes bad you toss it away and buy another copy from a pawn shop.
Cons
After Installing Free DVD Burner I clicked Video_TS and clicked burn but Nothing Happened. It never displayed progress. It will however let you know if your disc has enough capacity to burn the DVD on to. I can view the Video_TS files using Windows DVD Burner but when I go to burning the Video_TS folder it reads There is too much in the folder to burn to your disc. Try deleting some of the files. If you do that you will compromise the DVD content and lose the movie. So why don't I just give up?

Downloaded just a minute ago. Opened and it said I need to download something else. Downloaded that and it keeps saying the same dumb thing. Installed quickly but what good is it? Uninstalled just as quick. The good reviews gotta be fake.

Don't waste your time. I though CNET was more reliable but lately all I'm getting is junk downloads. I knew I should of followed my first mind. Try it. Best of luck. Let me just say, I told you so. If they had less than a star I would of picked that.
