Pros
Bricking a phone just got a whole lot easier!
Cons
Program can't be hacked and coded to turn on it's creators and brick them.
Summary
I think you get the point (the point is the software is b-a-d- BAD).

Well folks, I decided to give old Kingo Root another chance with my new phone and guess what happened - ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST!
Kingo Root is to androids what the black plague is to humans! I took the thing back to the shop in then hope of getting a new ROM flashed onto it and was having trouble getting the techs to understand what I'd done (I live in Vietnam), but as soon as I said "Kingo Root" the communication barrier fell to the wayside. They started a long and very animated discussion with the name "Kingo Root" popping up occasionally, mixed with comments regarding myself and my decision making abilities ( I assume). In the end I got lucky, because they had mercy on me and replaced the phone and told me not to kill this one!
2 phones bricked in 2 weeks - I'm sure it's not a record, especially with Kingo on the loose....

I'm glad to hear things worked out so well for you (and your device), because my experience hasn't been so peachy keen!
Let me begin by qualifying myself - I know my shibizzle, and gave pause before setting forth onto a path that can be fraught with peril. Set forth I did, however, and now my pos phone has been rendered into an even bigger pos (since it no longer does anything, except hang on the splash screen).
I have a glimmer of hope in the fact that it is starting up, though several factory data resets have been ineffective thus far.
Thanks Kingo! I had nothing better to do on this fine morning, so your pos software has proved me with a mission, because idle hands truly are the devil's playground and mine are on par with Six Flags, or...whatever.
*I highly recommend this software for anyone wishing to kill their phone. All others should avoid it like...whatever.
Pros
nothing is good.fucking scam software
Cons
after rooted. my note 3 backspace key doesnt work at all. fuck this. and you cant remove the root once your rooted with this scam software. beware every1.

Pros
No pros it is crap-ware that will brick HTC and Panasonic phones.
Cons
Bricked a HTC Inspire, Locked/tampered with a HTC One X, and no Super User access on a Panasonic. If rooted this way not a true root. Can not gain full root access.
Summary
Do not trust your phone to Kingo. There are much easier ways to root a phone without the headaches of Kingo. This will load much bloatware and crapware to your computer. It will also tell you that your phone is rooted and ready...Its not. Kingo is a fake root, no true root access.

Hello i just wanted to help a little and make sure that you don't have problem in the future i had the same problem at first on my lg g stylo running 5.1 i think and the problem was installing the drivers and then telling my phone to trust my pc as a debugger hope this helps if you haven't been able to root yet also try towelroot and farmaroot both are great on phone one click root app although they don't work with all i've never had a phone brick from them
Pros
None with an htc Desire 610
Cons
Tricks and deception. Only works with a few phones.
Summary
Since the developers of Kingo know in advance which phones are compatible with the software, why would they make me download, install, and run Kingo only to find it cannot root an htc 610 Desire.
Then they follow up with an insulting email saying "We are so sorry for not delivering the best result. We will keep trying and let you know as soon as your device is supported."
Note that I am not complaining about the ability of Kingo to root certain phones; above is testimony to that. I just detest software developers who are unable to think things through. Identifying all angles is the hallmark of any good programmer.
Thus, a simple list of phones on their website that can be rooted with Kingo is all that is needed. Yet on http://www.kingoapp.com/android-root/devices.htm they list "htc". Lies!
