Want to show off that gorgeous singing voice? Karaoke CD G Creator Pro has everything the devoted karaoke artist needs. Its four-panel interface is easy to use and practically self-explanatory. The Soundtrack panel displays the song's waveform along with lyric markers. The Editing window lets you edit and change lyrics--though not the music file. The Preview window shows how lyrics will appear onscreen when it's time for a performance. Beginners will appreciate the Create New Song wizard, which gently guides them through the track-creation process. In full-screen mode, the included player turns your PC monitor into a karaoke machine. Karaoke CD G Creator Pro supports MP3 and WAV files; however, since you can't edit music beyond simply removing vocals, you'll want to start with an instrumental version of the song, if possible. The program also supports KAR (MIDI karaoke) files. Overall, while you might find better programs for handling certain parts of the process, Karaoke CD G Creator Pro works nicely as an all-in-one package for beginners.

Quality of CDG very Poorly Converted with Crashes

Easily converts your KAR files to New Age Karaoke format. CDG format.
Cons
After you create your karaoke in Karaoke CDG, the visual highlight of the words do not function properly in any karaoke program. The highlight just does not function. I have tried on Windows XP, Vista, and 7. All the same results.

Everything. Wouldn't preview song, if I tried to exit, it crashed. Couldn't find any decent FAQ nor good documentation to help me troubleshoot the issue.
Summary
I have a few products from this company and I like them. I was very disappointed with this program. Glad I didn't pay for it before I tried it based on my past experience or I would have been out $150.
Sony had similar vocal-disabling function a decade ago.

Pros
As you belt out or serenade your song, the original vocalist will shadow your singing. It's a distinct, faraway, echo-like sound in the background that's still quite audible. If you don't mind this, then by all means, get the software.
Cons
Should you be an ardent karaoke fan like me, you will find the voice-cancellation softwares available, wanting. Generally, all softwares currently available are not effective enough to totally erase original vocals from the soundtrack. Sad but true.
Summary
Honestly, I had this voice-cancelling feature built in my Sony Karaoke player which I purchased some 10 years ago. The set was rather expensive then, about US$1000 (about 4000 in Malaysian currency or Ringgit). It provided the exact sound I now get when I use this trial-and-test version of the Creator Pro software. Even then, I wasn't happy with the quality that I obtained from my Sony set, playing normal CDs that had vocal tracks. So, I continued purchasing karaoke CDs that were readily available in the market, for better sound quality. Sadly, until today, I still have problems looking for accompanying music to certain songs. I guess, my best bet is to seek out credible sessionists or music arrangers able to produce the instrumental versions of my favourite numbers and keep as closely to the original tracks that I am keen on. That, I am sure, is going to be quite a bomb. But hey, at least, I'll be singing at the end of the day.
It won't work on my Win7 PC. Crashes every single time!

Free to try, and vocals are at least sort of removed.
Cons
It puts reverb on everything to hide the bad sound quality, which is annoying. Also, never gave me the option to synchronize the lyrics to the song, because everything was greyed out except for "done."
