You shouldn't spend your job search trying to invent an organizational system, especially since JibberJobber is available for free. Actually, you shouldn't spend that much time in front of your computer at all - you need to be out looking for that job! JibberJobber allows you to keep track of all of the information that you collect during a job search. Track the companies that you apply to. Track each job that you apply for, and log the status of each job (date first interview, thank you letter sent). Want to know where you sent your different resumes? JibberJobber can track all this.
